Rosemary Loar "Water From The Moon"

Rosemary Loar, known for her theatrical talents from such Broadway shows as Sunset Boulevard and Chess, as well as countless regional productions and National Tours, brings her songwriting talents into the spotlight in her new solo CD "Water From The Moon." The CD features the score from Rosemary's rock musical by the same title, which has been described as 'Hedwig meets a family drama'.

One of the three separate plot lines of the story takes place at a rock concert, which allows for the songs to stand solidly on their own. The lyric-driven rock songs are complemented by synth and guitar texturing. Featured on the album are many Sh-K-Boom regulars, including Shannon Ford (Alice Ripley's band) on drums, Roger Butterley (Phoebe Snow's and Greg Naughton's band) on guitar, Leo Huppert (The Producers) on bass, Frank Spitznagel (Chicago City Limits) on keyboards, Bob Gustafson (Aida) on piano, and Alicia Irving (Side Show, Les Miserables) on backup vocals.
